These are our Terms and Policies at A la carte Gifts and Baskets. Please read them carefully and if you have any questions, feel free to call us at (303)-454-8844
We can add alcohol to any gift basket that is being delivered locally within the guidelines of the policy of Argonaut Liquors.
Gift baskets that include alcohol must be arranged via phone. We can rarely complete same-day deliveries for baskets including alcohol; you can still give us a call to see if this will be possible for your order. We usually require at least a day of lead-time for any baskets that include alcohol, and delivery is dependent upon the schedule of Argonaut Liquors.
The gift must be signed for upon receipt by an individual who is at least 21 years old and has a valid ID. The sender must also be 21+.
Because we do not resell alcohol, the purchase will be made at Argonaut using the sender’s payment information. Alcohol purchases are made in addition to the gift basket and are never reflected in the retail price of the basket. Any cost associated with adding alcohol to a gift basket are only to cover the delivery of the alcohol to us, A la Carte Gifts & Baskets.
We cannot ship alcohol through UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
Alcohol availability is subject to our associates’ stock. We welcome and encourage the sender to bring us the alcohol they want to include. The finished basket must be picked up from us by the sender. Any gift baskets that include alcohol given to us by the sender must be picked up by the sender and cannot be delivered by A la Carte Gifts & Baskets’ courier.
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card provider has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.
We accept personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $35 fee on all returned checks.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. A la Carte Gifts & Baskets reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Our store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.
These conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether A la Carte Gifts & Baskets signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these conditions at any time.
Orders being delivered outside our courier's range will ship via UPS. Most orders received before 12:00 P.M. (MST) can ship the same day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Most orders received after 12:00 P.M. (MST), or over the weekend and holidays will ship the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive, but will do everything we can to make sure your order arrives on your preferred date. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by A la Carte Gifts & Baskets or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
We will ship your products as they becomes available, however, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfillment of your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping, however, if your order has already been created you will be charged a 35% restocking fee.
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will be charged once for all products and shipping charges in you order once they have all shipped, unless otherwise previously arranged. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt.
If a product contains items that are unsuitable to safely be shipped such as; (but not limited to) liquids, glass bottles, and fresh fruit, then an item of equal or greater value will be substituted.
We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders and to personalize your shopping experience.
Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology.
This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. By using this site, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any such site.

When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you must provide your name, email address and phone number. If you win, we will notify you by phone and/or email. You must be able to claim your prize in person at 910 16th St. Suite 312 Denver, CO 80202. When you enter a contest or drawing you consent to receive our newsletter. You may unsubscribe from this newsletter list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.
We will gladly accept the return of products that are unsatisfactory due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, A la Carte Gifts & Baskets shall immediately issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
