More than 65 million years ago dinosaurs roamed the Earth. More than 25 years ago, Cindy Kent opened A la Carte Gifts & Baskets. Cindy loves being a small business owner almost as much as she loves her dog, Betty, but more than she loves a glass of chardonnay.
Megan was born in the slums of Augsburg in 1938, as far as you’re concerned. As our resident GOBLIN, or Good Old Basket Loving Innovative Native, she designs the custom pieces that we lovingly send thither and yon. In her spare time she loves to harshly judge movies and draw.
Rob is originally from New England and will forever be a proud Rhode Islander. Creativity is in his blood and has spent the last 30 years as a professional performer and entertainer in musical theatre from Broadway to LA and everywhere in between. A keen eye for detail and uniqueness makes A la Carte a great fit to his passion for anything fun and beautiful.
Abby grew up in a small midwest town of Indiana . She has lived in Denver for three years now and loves exploring all the different neighorhoods. When shes not in the mountains or cuddling with her dog Mattie, she is here helping us run the office. She came to us from the service industry and knows some of the best places to grab a bite to eat.
Amberama is our resident trouble maker. Coloradan born, an eccentric creative, and a Madre to two super cool kids. She is an avid lover of music, nature, snapping photos, and worships the moon and stars. When she's not running our social media pages or assisting us during the holiday season, she's delicately planning her world domination. Mwuhahaha!Â

A la Carte Gifts & Baskets was created on March 18th, 1996. We are located in the historic University building in beautiful downtown Denver on the 16th Street Mall. Our location is considered a working studio – that means we are in a retail building, without an actual retail set up. Since everything we do is custom designed, we save a lot on overhead by designing what you need and not guessing what you want.
Our customers are welcome to come down to drop off items for custom gift baskets, or to pick up the finished product. Our central location is very convenient for our downtown corporate clients. For those who want a drive through, whenever possible, we will run a gift basket down to a client who's on the go!
